People in developing countries have the same needs, failings and dreams as everyone. Grow Movement uses remote volunteer consultants on an ultra low cost base to help developing country entrepreneurs realise their dreams, relieve poverty and create employment. Our sponsors and volunteers help improve the world one small action at a time and see the results for themselves.

We need to raise 60 GBP to for each project, which covers our costs of project managing the assignment. The consultant donates all of their time for free and the cost of their phone calls. If you sponsor towards a project you will receive an email from the consultant about the assignment after they have completed their research and at the end outlining what they achieved. You will also be able to phone the business after the assignment to discuss how the consultation you funded has helped his business. If we raise more than 60 GBP we will allocate the surplus funds to other Grow assignments. Thank you for your help.

We keep our cost base as low as possible through remote volunteers and only employing local staff in developing countries to run operations, thereby also creating employment. Our directors perform all of our accounting, legal and organizational development work pro bono. This means that each consultancy project costs only approximately 60 GBP, which is perhaps thirty times cheaper than conventional expatriate development consultants. The 60 GBP is principally the salary costs and office rental of our local staff spread over the number of projects.

We currently do not ask developing country MSME's to contribute financially to their assignment due to the difficulties of cash collection for an online charity. Our businesses need to spend considerable time and effort working with Grow consultants to learn new skills and derive benefits from our work, so they still have to make an investment to succeed.
